Welcome to the registration process:

If you have an interest in participating in a Spirit journey, please go through the following steps:

1. Take a look around this website to learn as much as you can about what is involved. You may find many of your questions answered here.
2. Contact us by email and provide us with a phone number and good times to ring so that we can talk it all through with you to make sure you know what you are joining in with.
3. After the phone call we will ask you to complete the registration form provided below. We will also ask you to sign the liability statement and provide us with a deposit as soon as possible. Such a process will guarantee you a place on a journey.

Payment details

Participation costs can be paid by cheque or credit card. Please make out cheques to the Uniting Church Board of Mission (NSW) who are allowing us to use their accounting and banking facilities.

If you are able to pay the full costs up front we would appreciate it as we will need to make some arrangements beforehand. If that is a problem, a deposit will be useful to signify your interest and for us to hold a place for you.

In addition you will need to contribute to food and fuel costs, which we estimate will be around $100 per person for fuel on mobile journeys and possibly $10-$15 per person per day for food. If you can bring this money with you, food and fuel issues will be dealt with in camping groups, rather than being centralised with one person or with us as a network.

For those with limited means:

We endeavour to keep our costs as low as possible. If you have issues in covering the costs of a journey please do not automatically decide that it is not possible for you to come. We have some limited sponsorship available to enable people with limited means to participate. It is important to us that we are making these journeys available to all people, not only those who can afford it. So don’t be backward and talk with us about any issues you may have.
Conversely, if you would like to assist with sponsoring others to be involved, we would be more than happy to ensure your support enables someone else to have a significant experience.
